The Dodgers just swept the New York Mets in Queens over three games. Thus, they come home after a 3-3 road trip with some momentum and hopes of continuing their success against a familiar divisional foe.
The Dodgers went 10-3 against the Rockies in 2023. Additionally, they went 11-8 in 2022 and 13-6 against them in 2021. Los Angeles hopes to continue its dominance of Colorado while also looking to win the pitching matchup.
Dakota Hudson starts for the Rockies. He is just 1-7 with a 5.54 ERA. Recently, he went six innings while allowing two earned runs on five hits in a no-decision against the Phillies.
Walker Buehler starts for the Dodgers. He is 1-2 with a 4.26 ERA. Ultimately, he had little run support in his last game while going 5 2/3 innings and allowing three earned runs on six hits in a 3-1 loss to the Cincinnati Reds.

Why The Rockies Will Cover The Spread/Win
The high altitude at Coors Field always helps, but the Rockies are doing well on offense in some aspects. Significantly, they are ninth in batting average. But the Rockies are also just 16th in on-base percentage, 19th in runs, 23rd in home runs, and 14th in slugging percentage. Because of the inconsistency, the following players will need to find ways to get the job done.

Charlie Blackmon has been with the Rockies for a long time. Currently, he is struggling, hitting just .242 with two home runs, 24 RBIs, and 24 runs. Ezequiel Tovar has done a solid job, batting .286 with seven home runs, 23 RBIs, and 28 runs. Additionally, he has hit safely in six of seven games.
Ryan McMahon is hitting consistently, batting .286 with 10 home runs, 34 RBIs, and 28 runs. Furthermore, he has two straight games with an RBI. Catcher Elias Diaz is emerging as a solid hitter. So far, he is batting .299 with four home runs, 24 RBIs, and 18 runs.
The Rockies do not like pitching this season. Sadly, they are last in baseball in team ERA. It gets worse. Somehow, they also have the worst bullpen in baseball. This staff will have its hands full against the Dodgers.

The Dodgers remain a powerhouse. Amazingly, they are third in batting average, on-base percentage, and home runs. Los Angeles also ranks first in slugging percentage and second in runs. Now, look for the following hitters to continue mashing the baseball and bringing the boys in blue home.
Mookie Betts is the man at the top of the lineup. He is batting .332 with eight home runs, 31 RBIs, and 42 runs. Shohei Ohtani has been a marvel, hitting .330 with 14 home runs, 38 RBIs, and 41 runs. Also, he clobbered a home run on Wednesday against the Mets.
Will Smith is having a solid season, batting .296 with nine home runs, 36 RBIs, and 32 runs. Furthermore, he also clubbed a two-run home run on Wednesday against the Mets. Freddie Freeman continues to produce. He is hitting .291 with six home runs, 33 RBIs, and 32 runs. Teoscar Hernandez has emerged as a solid hitter in this lineup. Now, he comes into this game with a mark of .26o with 12 home runs, 38 RBIs, and 32 runs.
The Dodgers are solid on the mound. So far, they are fourth in team ERA. But this season has also given us an improved bullpen. Significantly, the Dodgers rank third in bullpen ERA. They will do everything in their power to hold the Rockies down from start to finish.
The Dodgers will cover the spread if they can batter the baseball early and put the Rockies in a hole. Then, they need Buehler to give them a quality start.
