The Buffalo Bills are on the edge of being a Super Bowl favorite. They have loads of talent and could become a true contender with the right moves this offseason.

Buffalo's defense was great last season the front office should look to add even more talent to it. After first tweeting out a gif of himself in a Bills uniform, Shaq Lawson straight up said that he wants to return to Buffalo. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, there is mutual interest in a reunion.

After being drafted 19th overall by the Bills in the 2016 draft and playing four seasons with them, he spent the 2020 season with the Miami Dolphins and last season with the New York Jets. In those two seasons, the Bills won the AFC East twice and established themselves as a legitimate powerhouse that plays well on both sides of the ball. Lawson's desire to return is very understandable.

Lawson could provide some solid depth on the Bills defense, especially if Jerry Hughes leaves in free agency. Lawson enjoyed the best season of his career with them, recording 13 tackles for losses and 6.5 sacks in 15 games in the 2019 season. Bringing back someone who clearly has a strong desire to be there is an easy move to make.

The Bills started to become a good team with Lawson playing a big role. Now that they are a very good team, bringing him back would be great for the locker room and the team.
