CJ McCollum is convinced that Damian Lillard is one of the best Portland Trail Blazers players ever; however, he strongly believes that his teammate is on his way to becoming the best player in franchise history.

Lillard has been the face of the Portland franchise for the past several seasons, even leading the Blazers to the Western Conference Finals last campaign. Now, McCollum thinks that the only thing missing on Lillard's list of accolades is winning a title — something which will cement Dame's place in the history books.

“I think the biggest thing right now for us is to try to figure out how to win a championship. Being able to do that will probably cement his legacy,” McCollum said via SiriusXM NBA Radio.

Lillard recently said that he wants to be the best Trail Blazer ever, and he feels he is on pace to become the franchise's GOAT because he has the statistics to back it up. However, he admitted that he needs to win a championship and even with the Most Valuable Player award to solidify his claim.
