It's official. Damian Lillard is bringing back Dame Time to the Three-Point Shootout in the NBA All-Star festivities in Atlanta on March 7, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. Lillard will be headlining the contest, which is expected to be held on the same day as all the other All-Star events.

The Portland Trail Blazers superstar has been lights out once again from deep this season. He's third in the NBA in three-pointers made with 105, knocking down at least four three-pointers per contest. The 30-year-old is arguably in the best shooting form of his career and can redeem himself from his loss in the 2014 Three-Point Shootout against eventual champion Marco Belinelli. Lillard is also on track to being selected for his sixth All-Star appearance.

Lillard might also want to shoot from a few feet away from the three-point line in the contest given that he's been automatic from way outside the arc. It won't be surprising if he brings out Logo Lillard on March 7.

With this year's All-Star festivities fast approaching, the NBA has decided to make the necessary adjustments due to the lingering COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of the usual three-day affair, all of the events are being squeezed into one day which means Damian Lillard will be quite the busy man that weekend. Don't count him out from joining the Skills Challenge as well.

As of now, word is that the Three-Point Shootout, as well as the Skills Challenge, will be done prior to the NBA All-Star Game, while the Slam Dunk Contest will be held during halftime.
