Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard is eight 30-point games away from setting a new franchise record.

Lillard has scored at least 30 points 123 times with the Blazers. Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler did it 130 times with Portland.

When it's all said and done, Damian Lillard is going to have a lot of the scoring records for the Blazers.

The All-Star recently passed power forward LaMarcus Aldridge for second place on the all-time Portland scoring list. Lillard is already first in franchise history in 3-pointers made and career points per game.

Lillard has scored over 30 points 23 times this season. The 28-year-old is one of the best scorers in the NBA and hungry to avenge the Blazers' early playoff exit from last season when they were swept by the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round.

In 69 games this season, Lillard is putting up 26.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.6 assists per contest while shooting 45.1 percent from the field, 37.0 percent from beyond the arc and 91.2 percent from the free-throw line. Dame has nine double-doubles on the season.

Portland is 43-27 on the campaign. They are in the fourth spot in the Western Conference standings.
