Portland Trail Blazers big man Enes Kanter has been fasting throughout Ramadan. However, once the holy month came to an end, he decided to celebrate with a feast of hamburgers.

Fasting for Ramadan is a common practice for Muslims. By rule, it requires abstinence from food and drink during daylight hours. This can be a challenging process, especially for professional athletes.

Kanter kept his fast, and when it was time to celebrate the closing of Ramadan, he whipped up seven juicy hamburgers on the grill:

“Alright, Ramadan is over and I'm having my first cheat meal. I'm pretty excited about it. Don't judge me,” Kanter said with a smile.

Kanter and the Blazers finished the 2018-19 regular season with a 53-29 overall record, earning a No. 3 seed in the playoffs. However, Portland was ultimately defeated by the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, 4-0.
