Jusuf Nurkic may have recently returned to the Portland Trail Blazers lineup after a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury, but his career has taken yet another road bump of late. The 26-year-old has is now reportedly facing legal charges from one of his neighbors because of a trash dispute.

According to Aaron Mesh of Willamette Week, Nurkic's neighbor has reportedly filed a lawsuit against the Blazers big man for allegedly dumping garbage on his property:

In the lawsuit, Oregon rancher Kent Seida seeks $8,674 from Nurkic for trespassing onto his cattle grazing property by dumping objects over the fence line. The two men own land side by side in Clackamas County.

Seida is reportedly suing Nurk for damages worth $8,000, which is the estimated cost for the removal of the debris and the repair of the damaged fence. $8,000 is not a small amount, but given how Nurkic is earning millions of dollars with the Blazers, this is something that he could have very easily resolved without the issue having to go to court.

Then again, it is worth noting that the complainant and his family reportedly have an “extensive history of property disputes in civil court.” Nurkic apparently did not respond to Seida's personal demands for the payment.

Nurkic's camp could not be reached for comments on this legal dispute. Unfortunately for the Blazers center, this is something that he will need to deal with — whether he likes it or not.
