Portland Trail Blazers big man Jusuf Nurkic was unable to take part in his team's series win over the Denver Nuggets. Despite failing to see the court during the postseason, however, the Bosnian big man has been with his teammates every step of the way — well, in spirit anyway.

This was no different on Sunday afternoon either, as Nurkic quickly took to Twitter to celebrate the Blazers' win over the Nuggets. He also used it as a chance to throw a bit of shade at Denver.

However, the injured Blazers big man wasn't quite finished yet, taking the opportunity to to praise McCollum as well.

Of course, Nurkic previously suited up for the Nuggets before ultimately being traded to the Blazers midway through the 2016-17 regular season. Spending parts of three seasons in Denver and parts of another three in Portland, Nurkic originally arrived on the NBA scene back in 2014-15.

During that span, he has averaged 11.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 blocks per game.

It is also worth noting that Nurkic appeared in 72 regular season games for the Blazers this time, starting each of those contests. Not only that, but he averaged a single-season career-high 15.6 points per game in 2018-19. Nurkic also tallied 10.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 steal across 27.4 minutes per outing.
