Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic will switch agents, parting ways with Andrew Morrison and Leon Rose of CAA to hire Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

Nurkic is the latest of many NBA players that have switched to the known sports agency, including the likes of Draymond Green, Montrezl Harrell, and most recently Anthony Davis, who also fired his former agent for Paul.

Much like Davis, Nurkic is soon to navigate his free agency, as he's bound to make $12 million this season and another $12.8 million the next before deciding on his impending future. Nurkic is still rehabilitating from a major injury, which will cost him time until he's reincorporated into the rotation.

The Blazers traded for Hassan Whiteside to take his place while he's on the mend, further complicating what would be a surefire pathway to re-sign with the team.

Portland also re-signed Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum to extensions this summer, which would likely mean that Nurkic could be looking for another franchise in the near future.

Paul has been notorious for acquiescing to his clients desires and landing them where they want to go, as he did with Davis this past summer. While Nurkic isn't an All-Star-caliber player like Davis, he should still get plenty of interest from NBA teams looking for a legitimate 7-footer with deft touch around the basket and a defensive presence to go with it.

The 25-year-old had a career-best season with the Blazers before his injury, averaging 15.6 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.4 blocks through 72 games.
