As part of the trickle down effect of a trade-in-agreement for L.A. Clippers point guard Chris Paul, the Houston Rockets sent cash considerations to the Portland Trail Blazers in return for combo guard Tim Quarterman, which led to this response by the Blazers' Twitter account.

If this wasn't enough of a troll, Basketball-Reference made an account for “cash considerations” with an incredibly-detailed player bio to honor it.

Congratulations Clutch City, you've got yourself a bench player for 25 pounds' worth of cash. Hurray!

If that wasn't enough, “cash considerations” had a statement to follow its arrival (by wire, we assume) to Rip City.

Everyone likes money, and apparently so do the Blazers who had a $119 million player payroll in 2016-17.
