Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard gave a message to NBA fans in light of the coronavirus outbreak that has affected not just the league, but the lives people across the globe. The five-time All-Star made sure to remind everybody to practice proper hygiene and avoid large crowds to prevent the further spread of the virus.

Nice one, Dame!

NBA players, especially superstars like Lillard, have a huge following all over the world. They have the popularity to spread awareness and remind people of what to do in these trying times. Thus, it's great to see the All-NBA point guard using his voice to do whatever he can.

The NBA immediately suspended the season when Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus. Gobert's teammate Donovan Mitchell and Detroit Pistons center Christian Wood have also tested positive.

Other players have extended their help through financial means, while others use their respective voices to spread awareness and give simple reminders, just like Lillard did.

Truly, as the Blazers star said, this is something that we can all stop with a collective effort. We all have to do our part.
