Following a couple of months of speculation leading up to the 2018 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos elected to use the fifth overall pick to take former NC State standout defensive end, Bradley Chubb. This addition further cements the Broncos' defensive front by pairing him alongside All-Pro defensive end Von Miller.

With that in mind, veteran cornerback Bradley Roby believes this move has given him the sense of what the 2015 Super Bowl season felt like in Denver behind a dominant pass rush, according to James Palmer of The NFL Network.

The decision to bring aboard Chubb now could provide the Broncos with another formidable duo along the defensive line that they previously had with DeMarcus Ware before he chose to step away from the game. The 21-year-old was widely viewed as being one of the most talented players in this year's draft class as the top defensive player that has a chance to make a tremendous impact from the get-go.

Chubb has displayed at the collegiate level to be a game-changing talent at his position that can be both an effective factor against the pass and run. In the 2017 season, he finished second in the nation with 26 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, two pass deflections, and three forced fumbles. This helped him earn a First-Team All-American nod, a First-Team All-ACC selection while winning the Hendricks award that is given to the best defensive end in the country, and the Bronko Nagurski award that is handed to the best overall defender.

His pairing alongside arguably one of the best defensive players in the league could help the Broncos tremendous have a resurgent 2018 campaign back to being a playoff contender in the AFC. Miller is still playing at an elite level where he registered 10.0 sacks for the sixth time in his first seven years in the league.

There is clearly plenty of potential for these two anchor Denver's defense for the long haul to help the franchise get back on top.
