Quarterback isn't the only spot the Denver Broncos will look different next season. In addition to trading for veteran signal-caller Joe Flacco, Denver also hired Mike Munchak, one of the most highly-respected offensive line coaches in league history, away from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Munchak's arrival marks the third offensive line coach the Broncos have had in as many years, and the team is also set to undergo major changes on the offensive line itself. Left tackle Garett Bolles is the only incumbent poised to play the same position as he did last season, and Denver will also have at least two new starters up front.

Bolles, though, seems completely unfazed by so much upheaval on the offensive line, including the specter of having a new position coach for a third consecutive season since he was drafted in 2017.

“Connor [McGovern] played center for us last year, the last six games of the year, and I feel like that’s where we as an offensive line group played our best football,” he said, per The Athletic's Nicki Jhabvala. “We’re just going to build on that…We’re solid. We’re close, we always talk and we’re always hanging out and we’re always doing the little things so when it gets time for fall camp, we’re ready to rock and roll.”

From left to right, Denver's offensive line currently is slated as follows: Garett Bolles-Ron Leary-Connor McGovern-Dalton Rister-Ja'Wuan James.

In Bolles and James, who signed a four-year $51 million deal with the Broncos in March, Munchak has two talented young bookends on either of the offensive line. The success of that unit, as Bolles indirectly suggests, will likely hinge most on the play of its interior linemen.
