The Seattle Seahawks and Russell Wilson went their separate ways this offseason, as the Super Bowl-winning quarterback was dealt to the Denver Broncos in a blockbuster trade. Given the finger-pointing that ensued between the Seahawks and Wilson immediately after the trade, there appears to be some feelings of animosity between the two sides. If there are any disappointed Seahawks fans, they won't have to wait long to let Wilson know about it, given the recent report from Vic Lombardi and Bleacher Report Gridiron.

Wilson and the Broncos will open up the 2022 season in Week 1 against the Seahawks. What a way to start the season! Wilson in his new threads playing in front of the 12th man in Seattle.

Given the way that things ended for Wilson in Seattle, it's likely that he hears his fair share of boos. However, the cheers should win out, as the star quarterback made the Pro Bowl in nine of his 10 seasons with the franchise while leading them to a Super Bowl title- and the precipice of another Lombardi Trophy.

Not only will football fans get to see the new ESPN Monday Night Football booth featuring Joe Buck and Troy Aikman in action for the first time, but they will also be treated to the highly anticipated Broncos-Seahawks matchup.
