Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper is considered “day-to-day” after suffering a “minor tweak” on Sunday, according to a tweet from 92.3 The Fan Cleveland Browns beat writer Daryl Ruiter.

“#Browns WR Amari Cooper is ‘day-to-day' with a minor tweak' according to EVP/GM Andrew Berry,” Ruiter wrote. “Berry added the injury is not surgery related and not serious.”

Where he suffered the tweak is not yet known, Cleveland.com Browns beat writer Mary Kay Cabot wrote in a Sunday article.

“Berry declined to specify what body part Cooper tweaked, but did say that it's not related to the core muscle surgery he had in February,” Cabot wrote. “Cooper spent some time in the therapy pool inside the Sports Performance building at The Greenbrier.”

Cooper revealed he had surgery on a core muscle injury in February during the Browns' offseason program in April.

“It went well,” Cooper said in April, via the Akron Beacon Journal. “The recovery went well. I'm like on the eighth week of it now, so I feel good. I feel like I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be.”

Cooper, a former first-round pick out of Alabama, has played in 125 NFL games and started in 118 since he was selected with the fourth-overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders. The Browns acquired Cooper in a 2022 trade that sent a 2022 fifth-round pick and a swap of 2022 sixth-round draft choices to the Dallas Cowboys. The four-time Pro Bowler played and started in 17 games for Cleveland last season, earning 1,160 receiving yards, nine touchdowns and 78 receptions.

Cleveland signed wide receiver Ra'Shaun Henry in June. It officially signed wide receiver Austin Watkins, who most recently spent time with the Birmingham Stallions of the USFL, on Saturday.
