The Cleveland Browns need a pick-me-up following a blowout loss to the New England Patriots and a mere three-point victory over the winless Detroit Lions. They shouldn't have too much to worry about with a 6-5 record but are last in the AFC North right now.

With an away game against the Baltimore Ravens on deck, Cleveland is going to need every edge they can get. Today, they got good news regarding the status of one of their key players. According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Baker Mayfield was a full participant in Thursday's practice, which suggests he is on track to start against the division-leading Ravens.

Mayfield has had an uninspiring season thus far, which has been headlined by his inability to mesh with Odell Beckham Jr. In 10 games this season, Mayfield has thrown just 10 touchdowns and six interceptions. He has thrown for 2,166 yards with a completion percentage of 64.0 percent. Despite pedestrian numbers from 2018's top overall draft pick, the Browns are better off with him under center than backup Case Keenum.

The Ravens, though, may be without their own starting quarterback, Lamar Jackson, after he missed last week's game with an illness. Jackson said he's very certain that he'll play against the Browns but his status has not yet been officially decided.
