The Cleveland Browns managed to bring in a bevy of talent through the 2018 NFL Draft. Among that flurry was their selection of former Georgia running back Nick Chubb in the second round.

It appears both sides have already taken care of business off the field. According to SportsTrust Advisors, Chubb and the Browns have agreed to terms on a rookie deal:

It goes without saying that Cleveland has been busy re-bolstering their roster this offseason. Much of their emphasis came on the offensive side of the ball.

The Browns wanted to solidify their passing game with the addition of quarterback Tyrod Taylor and wide receiver Jarvis Landry. However, they also managed to bring in a slew of talent in the backfield as well. Aside from Chubb, Cleveland also brought in running back Carlos Hyde while holding onto running back Duke Johnson Jr. as well.

Hyde established himself as a capable workhorse running back during his time with the San Francisco 49ers. Meanwhile, Johnson was able to etch out a role as the team's third-down back in over the past three seasons. That said, Chubb may have his work cut out for him in his rookie campaign.

Fortunately, he is coming off a stellar career at Georgia in which he finished as one of the best running backs in college football. Chubb certainly possesses the size and strength of a bell-cow back. However, he will have to make the most of his limited snaps early on if he is to carve out a role for himself in the new offense.
