There has been plenty of speculation regarding potential suitors that can make a deal for Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams. It appears the Cleveland Browns are not one of them.

There were rumors pegging the Browns as one of the notable teams hoping to acquire Williams' service. According to Tony Grossi of WKNR, general manager John Dorsey attempted to make a move, but was turned away.

So John Dorsey got the whole room buzzing on his exit line regarding about trading for Trent Williams: “Takes two to tango.”

Williams still has yet to make his debut after opting to sit out the 2019 NFL season. Despite there being no shortage of interest around the league, Washington has reportedly turned down all offers while doubling down on their decision not to trade him. Dorsey's comments indicate that they may very well be doing what they can to get him back on the field.

It is no secret that this team has ushered in some significant changes as of late following the firing of head coach Jay Gruden. With the trade deadline nearing closer, Washington is running out of time to make another move before they are stuck dealing with this ongoing situation for the rest of the year.

Regardless, this still leaves Cleveland without a potential solution to their current issues along the offensive line. The Browns have now dropped two straight and things will not get any easier in Week 7 when they hit the road to take on the New England Patriots.
