While Odell Beckham Jr. might be reveling in his cushier situation right now with the Los Angeles Rams, the same can't be said as much for Jarvis Landry of the Cleveland Browns.

Landry is still dealing with the pain in his left knee and is not having a very productive season. Now, the exit of his good buddy OBJ has compounded things a bit more for the Browns wide receiver.

The Browns were expected to wreak havoc when they signed Beckham in 2019, pairing him with Landry who joined the team a year earlier. But alas, it proved to be unfruitful. Landry admitted that OBJ forcing his way out of the squad was a sad development (via Akron Beacon Journal).

“It definitely was something that hurt. It stung. It still does.”

With the Browns staring at an even 5-5 record through Week 10, they're in danger of missing the NFL Playoffs yet again. They broke their 17-year postseason skid last season but unless Landry, Baker Mayfield, and company get their act together soon, another long drought could be on the horizon.

Landry, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, knows this all too well.

“If the pressure was never on, I think it's on now to be able to go on a streak here and win every last one of them. It starts this week with Detroit.”

The Browns have a good chance of getting their sixth win as they host the still winless Detroit Lions on Sunday.
