The Cleveland Browns are preparing for the final decision on Deshaun Watson. Many expect Watson to receive a one-year suspension at the bare minimum. Although Browns fans may be panicking as they await a verdict on Cleveland's new QB, running back Kareem Hunt is maintaining a calm and collected mindset.

The running back shared his thoughts on Watson's potential suspension, per News 5 Cleveland reporter Camryn Justice.

“I don't know too much about the situation,” Hunt said. “If he misses it, it's the next man up mentality. I'm gonna be ready to play, I know the rest of the teams still gonna be ready to play—We didn't have Deshaun last year or the years before.”

Hunt understands the bigger picture. The Browns are likely going to be without Deshaun Watson this season. But Hunt knows that Cleveland needs to be ready regardless of how long the looming suspension ends up being.

Justice later shared a Kareem Hunt quote in reference to the Browns uncertain QB situation.

“It's kinda crazy but the Browns are trying to find a way to win right now and it's a business so I'm just trying to do my part, come back healthy and ready to go.”

Jacoby Brissett may very well be the Browns quarterback this season. Baker Mayfield has reportedly moved on and there are not many options on the trade/free agent market. The Browns would need to reach out and mend their relationship with Baker Mayfield if they decide to make him QB1. This is undoubtedly a messy situation for the Browns.

But as far as Kareem Hunt is concerned, Cleveland is going to be just fine. His comments should provide some comfort for Browns fans.
