Proud Ohio natives in Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and Portland Trail Blazers swingman CJ McCollum were both hyped on Twitter during and after the Cleveland Browns' Week 15 showdown against the New York Giants. Both players are showing their support for the Browns as James hailed from the city of Akron while McCollum grew up in Canton, Ohio.

The four-time NBA MVP was ecstatic for Browns running back Nick Chubb who tallied the third touchdown for the Browns in the final frame of the game.

After the Browns secured the victory over the Giants, James also gave a shoutout to head coach Kevin Stefanski who led the huge turnaround for the team this season.

McCollum also campaigned for Stefanski's bid for the 2020 NFL Coach of the Year award through Twitter. He also shared that James is a huge Cowboys fan but will always remain a part of Cleveland regardless of where he plays in the NBA.

After the game, McCollum had a huge sigh of relief and expressed his gratitude as a Browns fan when the team sealed their 10th win of the season.

The Browns franchise has already gone through many years of futility in recent memory. Instead of jockeying for playoff spots, the team was known for anticipating the draft night in hopes of rebuilding their roster from the ground up.

After the arrival of big-name players like Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham Jr., and Myles Garrett to the team, the Browns finally have a competitive squad that is looking to wreak havoc for the years to come. With a 10-4 record, the Browns are well on their way to appear in the postseason for the first time since 2002 and has certainly brought the Dawg Pound back to its feet once again.

The Browns will aim to finish the season with strong performances against the skidding New York Jets and division rival Pittsburgh Steelers in Weeks 16 and 17, respectively.
