The Cleveland Browns may get a huge boost ahead of Week 10 match against the Houston Texans. Per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Browns are hoping to get star running back Nick Chubb back on Sunday.

Chubb has been sidelined for more than a month due to an MCL sprain. Reports earlier this week suggested Chubb has been progressing from his knee injury. Now, it seems like the one-time Pro-Bowler is set to make his return as Cleveland comes back from their bye week.

While this may be good news for Browns fans, it's also possible that the Browns exercise caution on his return. They did the same for Wyatt Teller, who will return against the Texans, in their loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in their previous contest.

Chubb suffered just a moderate MCL sprain. While this could affect his movement laterally, it shouldn't alter his speed and burst that much. However, re-injury could always happen if he gets hit directly on the outside of his knee.

The Browns suffered injuries to some of their key guys throughout the season. Obviously, the loss of Odell Beckham Jr. hurt the most and Chubb's absence earlier this year looked like a huge blow. However, despite being bitten by the injury bug, they have continued to play well and remain in the thick of the playoff race with a 5-3 mark.

Nonetheless, Cleveland definitely prefers to have majority of their roster in tact as it looks to vie for a spot in the postseason. Nick Chubb's return would certainly give them a major boost moving forward.
