Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield enjoyed plenty of memorable moments during the 2018 NFL season. It appears the folks over at PFF have managed to break down his best performance of the year.

Although there were a number of games to choose from, Mayfield's best game came against the Carolina Panthers in Week 14, via PFF on Twitter:

There is no question that this was quite a performance from Mayfield. The Browns had been in desperate need of a win for their playoff push down the stretch of the 2018 campaign. The rookie managed to come through by completing 18-of-22 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown en route to a 26-20 win.

Baker Mayfield had already been in the midst of a promising rookie campaign after leading the Browns on a resurgence; however, gutsy performances like this one essentially solidified his status as the No. 1 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. It also catapulted him into the conversation for Offensive Rookie of the Year. Although he ultimately fell short of the award and the playoffs, fans have good reason to be optimistic.

Expectations are now as high as ever in Cleveland with all the notable additions the Browns have made in recent years. The front office has done what it can to gather as much firepower on offense as possible. The onus will ultimately fall to Mayfield to lead the Browns to the promised land. It may not be long before performances like this one in 2018 become a regular occurrence for him.
