Training camp hasn't even started, and the Cleveland Browns hype train is already moving full-speed ahead. The Browns looked good down the stretch last season, and then they traded for Odell Beckham Jr. this offseason. Hopes are understandably high, and there's a ton of excitement surrounding the Browns for the first time in a long time.

If the Browns are going to reach their potential in 2019, they'll need a huge year from Beckham in his first year with Baker Mayfield. One of Beckham's former teammates, fellow receiver Victor Cruz, is quite confident that he'll deliver.

TMZ caught up with Cruz recently, and the former Giant had this to say:

“He's going to ball. Baker's got all the tools, so he'll be just fine.” Cruz is also high on the team's prospects overall, saying that he's “got them winning ten games next year.”

Cruz, for a while, looked like the next great Giants wide receiver, but injuries derailed his career and Beckham took over that mantle. They were teammates from 2014-16, although Cruz didn't play all that much during those years. Cruz put up over 2,600 yards between the 2011 and 2012 seasons, and was a huge part of their Super Bowl XLVI win.

Cruz is now an analyst at ESPN after injuries forced him to retire, and he's apparently quite high on this Browns team. He has seen Beckham up close and personal, so he obviously knows what he's talking about in regard to the LSU product. Whatever happens, the Browns will surely be one of the most fun and exciting teams to watch this season.
