The Cleveland Browns have not had much success trying to find their quarterback of the future, but this year they hope it's different. Most believe that the Browns will take a quarterback with the first overall pick, and if they decide to not take one with that pick they have another pick at four that they can take a quarterback with.

The new general manager John Dorsey is the one making the decision on who will be their new quarterback, and according to Robert Klemko, it's only his decision. Not even head coach Hue Jackson has any knowledge about who his future QB will be.

It makes sense that Dorsey wouldn't have Jackson give an input, especially if he believes after this year he will move on from him as coach. What doesn't really make sense though is not telling him what direction they are going.

It's such an important decision that the future of the franchise hinges on, and there is a chance that the coach won't even know who they are picking until it is called into the league office.

Jackson is also been known as a good quarterbacks coach, and he used to be considered a good evaluator of them and it was a big reason he landed a job with the Browns in the first place.

It will be interesting to see how this story unfolds, but one thing seems almost certain, after Thursday night the Browns will have a new quarterback of the future.
