Ladies and gentlemen, this one is over. The Cleveland Browns have finally put away the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football. The game was essentially sealed with this touchdown pass from Baker Mayfield to rookie Stephen Carlson.

Carlson's first career touchdown catch couldn't have come at a better time. The Browns notched their first victory against the Steelers since 2014.

The win drastically improved the playoff hopes of the Cleveland faithful, as they are now legitimate AFC Wild Card contenders. As for the Steelers, the loss is a crushing one. Before this game, Pittsburgh sat in the second AFC Wild Card spot because of a head to head advantage over the Indianapolis Colts. Now, the Steel City is behind the Colts and the Oakland Raiders for the final playoff spot.

The Steelers' hopes aren't dead yet. They have a couple of winnable games in front of them, coupled with some tough ones. They'll have to win at least four of the remaining six to remain contenders. The Browns, on the other hand, have a great remaining schedule. Five of the next six are winnable for them, as they play both the Miami Dolphins and the Cincinnati Bengals.
