The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on the hunt for a quarterback this offseason. They have big shoes to fill after GOAT Tom Brady announced his retirement from the NFL.

However, rumor has it that Brady might not be completely out of the picture for the Buccaneers' upcoming season. According to NBC Sports, General manager Jason Licht hasn't given up on the possibility of his return.

Licht made an appearance on NFL Network from the Scouting Combine and said that the franchise is “trying to make our plans to move forward…if that’s the case that we need to move forward.”

The Buccaneers GM then said “We’ll see what the future holds…We’ll leave the light on. You always leave the light on for a guy like Tom Brady,” all quotes courtesy of NBC Sports.

In other words, the conspiracy that Brady isn't finished in the NFL isn't as bizarre as people once thought. His retirement was announced twice, but that doesn't mean anything.

According to a recent report, even people close to the Buccaneers star don't think that he played his last game in the NFL.

Brady is still in peak physical form to continue playing at the professional level and win championships. Just last season, the Buccaneers quarterback won his seventh Super Bowl. If he will go for eight, only time will tell. The starting quarterback position is there for him if he wants it.
