The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are lock and loaded for the 2022 NFL season. They are looking to redeem themselves after missing the Super Bowl last season. With Tom Brady back for at least one more ride, the Bucs are poised to be one of the contenders for the title in the conference.

However, a minor problem arose in the last few days concerning one of their best players. A few days ago, it was rumored that Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette had gained significant weight during the offseason. The Bucs coaching staff was reportedly outraged at this report.

A few days after that report came out, Leonard Fournette's trainer cleared the air on the running back's weight situation. Jordan Bush, who is working with the Buccaneers RB, admitted that his client did put on more weight. However, he said that the situation was blown out of proportion, and that Fournette is already working on it in what they call a “fat camp”. (via Greg Auman)

“Honestly, he did return to us a little bit bigger than we wanted,” Bush said. “He was also in the sauna every day, getting extra cardio every single day. We called it ‘fat camp,’ just to mess around with him, but he was doing that type of stuff every single day. We could see the weight coming off.”

Bush also pointed out that Fournette gains weight rather quickly. Despite that, though, the Buccaneers RB's staff already knows what they need to do in order to get back to his ideal range of 230 pounds.

As for Fournette, the Buccaneers' featured back fired back at these reports with this Tweet.
