The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have two of their key contributors on both sides of the ball when they take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. According to Adam Schefter, Mike Evans and Devin White will both play in Week 1 versus the 49ers.

Just a couple of days ago, Evans missed Friday's practice due to an illness. Despite him missing practice, head coach Bruce Arians never believed that his illness would affect his status for Week 1.

Evans is entering his sixth season in the NFL and is expected to be the No. 1 option in Tampa Bay's passing attack once again. During the offseason, the Buccaneers witnessed a shakeup in their receiving corps with Adam Humphries and DeSean Jackson departing in free agency.

Therefore, the Buccaneers are ecstatic to see Evans active for their first matchup of the season. Along with Evans, Chris Godwin is going to be required to step into a larger role in the passing attack.

As for White, the rookie linebacker out of LSU is believed to become the leader on the defense for years to come. The Buccaneers selected White with the fifth-overall pick in this year's draft.

There seems to be a flu or bug going around in Tampa Bay with White also dealing with an illness. Similarly to Evans, the linebacker was never expecting to miss any time due to his illness.

The matchup between the Bucs and Niners is heading towards being a shootout between the teams. For the Buccaneers, they will have two of their starters return to the starting lineup after missing practices earlier this week.
