Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre has nothing but incredible words to say to former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, who officially announced his retirement earlier in the week.

In his recent appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Favre shared what makes Brady really great. His accolades aside, the longevity and consistency that the seven-time Super Bowl champion showcased through his 22 years in the NFL is a feat that can be considered a miracle.

For Favre, it's unlikely that football fans will be able to see such greatness and longevity ever again, which is not far-fetched given how high a standard that Brady set for all QBs that are currently in the NFL and will come into the league in the future.

“What a career, what a ride that he had,” Favre said of the Buccaneers and New England Patriots icon. “I don’t know if in our generation we will see anything even close to it. I just don’t know if anyone wants to play 22 years, and if you do, there’s a lot of things that can go wrong throughout that journey.”

“To me, I think about my career and think about mine and sort of compare it to Tom… It’s one thing to play with injury and that’s gonna happen. It’s another to be good long enough and consistent enough that they don’t replace you. That's maybe even more miraculous than anything else.”

Brett Favre also called Tom Brady's career “flawless” and admitted it's hard to put into words the success he had in the league throughout his time in the pros.

Brady has already cemented his status as the greatest QB in NFL history, and one could even make a case he is the best football player in the history of the game. While his career was stained with some issues, it doesn't erase the fact that what he has achieved is both historic and remarkable.
