Buccaneers star Rob Gronkowski’s status vs. Dolphins, revealed
Tampa Bay Buccaneers star tight end Rob Gronkowski missed last weekend’s reunion game against the New England Patriots because of multiple broken ribs and a punctured lung. It was reported that Gronkowski could miss more than just that game, and sure enough, the Buccaneers tight end won’t play against the Miami Dolphins in Week 5 action.
Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians announced the news to reporters on Friday. Not all is bad on the injury front, though:

Gronk looked like his best self to start the season, catching two touchdowns in each of the first two games. He then had four catches and 55 yards in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams, which is when he got hurt.
While Gronk is out, it’s good to see that Jason Pierre-Paul and Jamel Deal will be able to give it a go. The Buccaneers’ defense hasn’t been at its best so far this season thanks in part to injuries, so having those two in the lineup will be helpful.
Tampa Bay is 3-1 on the season after squeaking out a victory over New England. The Dolphins are just 1-3 and are still without starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
