When Bruce Arians took over as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this offseason, he had hoped to convince wide receiver DeSean Jackson to stay for another year. It looks like that ship has sailed.

According to Jenna Laine and Tim McManus of ESPN.com, the Buccaneers have begun shopping Jackson in trade talks, and Jackson seems to prefer being dealt to the Philadelphia Eagles.

In spite of the fact that Tampa Bay would prefer to trade Jackson to receive something in return, there is some talk around the league that the Bucs could end up just releasing the disgruntled wide out.

Rumors of Jackson's unhappiness began back in October, when he reportedly asked the Buccaneers for a trade. However, Tampa Bay was said to turn down his request, and then, later in the season, Jackson sold his house in Tampa, an indication that he would be moving on from the Bucs during the offseason.

The 32-year-old has had a very disappointing two-year run with the Buccaneers.

This past season, he caught just 41 passes for 774 yards and four touchdowns, and in his first year with the club in 2017, he registered 50 catches for 668 yards and three scores.

Jackson, who played his collegiate football at the University of California, was originally selected by the Eagles in the second round (49th pick overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft.

He spent the first six years of his career in Philadelphia, making three Pro Bowls. He then landed with the Washington Redskins, where he played three seasons.
