The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made some high-profile additions this offseason. Of course, the first was signing future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady during free agency.

Then, just a few days ago, they added a massive weapon for him. That weapon is pretty familiar with Brady, too. Rob Gronkowski came out of retirement and was promptly traded to the Buccaneers.

The tight end is one of the best the game has ever seen. And he's spent his entire career catching passes from Brady.

Obviously, the city of Tampa Bay is pretty excited. And that includes the mayor, Jane Castor.

Castor took to Twitter to welcome the duo. And she had some fun with it.

Castor pokes fun at the weather and the incident with Brady and the public park. Calling him a GOAT is a quick way to make sure everyone knows it was nothing too serious. And it's pretty hard to argue with too.

She also brings up all the things to do in Tampa Bay. Then she turns to talk about the Super Bowl and the Buccaneers' prospects of winning it all. She even adds in a pretty terrible “arrgh” pirate joke and mocks Gronkowski for denting a trophy.

Castor definitely made sure the duo feels welcome. However, she ended the letter by making sure Brady isn't too comfortable just yet.

In a “P.S.” Castor throws one more jab at the quarterback's “Tampa Brady” and “TOMpa Bay” trademarks. While she's obviously joking, don't count Brady out.

If he finds a way to win one (or even two) Super Bowls in Tampa Bay, there might be some legitimate support for the name change.
