Superstar QB Tom Brady has a new weapon in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense as he's set to be joined by former teammate WR Antonio Brown. Brown is set to join the Buccs on a one-year $2.5 million contract to give Brady a new legitimate option on offense.

When asked about his new WR, Brady had nothing but praises for the seven-time Pro Bowler.

“Well, he’s a tremendous football player,” Brady said, via pewterreport.com. “I played with him for a brief period of time, and I’m looking forward to working with him again and seeing what kind of role he can come in and [play]. He’s a very hard-working guy. Again, we’re all going to go out there on the practice field and do the best we can do, and we’re going to see how it all fits together. There is a lot of hard work ahead. None of it magically happens. We realize that early in the season when we put a lot of new people together.

Tom Brady and Antonio Brown did spend some time on the field together when the wide receiver suited up for the New England Patriots last season. In his lone game in New England, Brown caught a pass from the legendary QB and scored his only touchdown for the team. That game against the Miami Dolphins on September 16, 2019 was the last game Brown played in the league.

Now, these two are set to reignite their brief partnership to hopefully help Tampa Bay go back to the playoffs after a 13-year drought.
