The signing of Tom Brady is already official for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and it appears that he's made his way to Florida. According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Brady will rent a mansion owned by Derek Jeter that is located in Tampa Bay.

A photo surfaced on Wednesday night of Brady in Tampa Bay at Davis Islands—where Jeter's mansion is located. Less than 24 hours later, Stroud seems to have confirmed that Brady will in fact be renting Jeter's impressive mansion.

Jeter, a Hall of Fame shortstop for the New York Yankees, began building the Davis Islands property in August of 2008. Then, in 2010, the construction was finished after Jeter spent nearly $7 million to purchase the land to build his massive abode.

Since retiring from the Yankees in 2014, Jeter has remained involved in baseball. Back in 2017, Jeter chose to become part-owner of the Miami Marlins. Therefore, it shouldn't come as a surprise that he resides in Florida.

While Brady will occupy his home in Davis Islands, Jeter has another house that is located in Florida. Provided that, the legendary shortstop likely isn't upset at letting Brady live in one of his houses temporarily.

When Brady signed with the Buccaneers, he signed a two-year, $50 million deal. Given the length of the contract, Brady isn't certain of what his future holds in Tampa Bay beyond two years.

Not too long ago, Jeter's home that is in Davis Islands has been valued at around $7.7 million. Seeing that, the cost to rent the mansion is likely through the roof. At the least, Brady seems to have more than enough money to cover the costs.
