The Milwaukee Bucks are in a tough situation. Giannis Antetokounmpo can become a free agent at the end of this upcoming season and leave Milwaukee. The Bucks had a limited amount of assets but were able to make one big trade to acquire Jrue Holiday who is a good fit on the court with Giannis but he may be an even better fit off of it.

On the daily Locked On Bucks Podcast, host Kane Pitman was joined by Jake Madison (Locked On Pelicans) to discuss why Jrue Holiday was the perfect addition to play next to Giannis this season, since he's been through a situation like this before.

Jake Madison: Jrue Holiday doesn't complain. He just goes out and plays really hard. You know, you can't ask for much more in terms of like a person with him.

Kane Pitman: This is one of the fascinating things about this trade, the whole AD situation. Jrue Holiday went through that and obviously, this is a little bit different because Holiday does have a player option after one year. If things go south, he can obviously leave if that's best for his career, but he has been through this before. I imagine that he and Giannis are going to get along really, really well. Giannis is similar to Jrue Holiday in that he's a guy that he doesn't do anything but hang out with family or be in the gym. That's literally all he does. He worked on his game and then other than that, he's with his family. So I do imagine that those two are gonna get along pretty well.

Jake Madison: Oh, absolutely. He gets along with everyone. There's no one who's ever said a bad thing about him. He's not the most vocal leader, but he's going to do it by his play and by leading by example. I think that is absolutely the type of guy that's perfect to pair next to Giannis.
