Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez thinks the franchise made all of the right moves this summer, except for one.

Lopez thinks the Bucks made a huge mistake signing his brother, Robin Lopez.

“I thought we made all of the right moves… pretty much. Except for signing Robin,” Brook told Alex Kennedy of Hoops Hype. “I don’t know about that one. (Laughs) We’ll see how that goes.”

Of course, Brook Lopez is just kidding around. The veteran big man always jokes around when it comes to his brother.

Brook, who re-signed with the Bucks this summer on a lucrative four-year, $52 million contract, says it's going to be fun playing with Robin.

“It’s going to be fun! I know my mom is going to be all about it. She was born in Milwaukee and grew up there for a few years. Now, she’s going to be an official Milwaukee resident again. She’ll be there all season long, watching our games.”

Along with signing Robin Lopez and re-signing Brook Lopez, the Bucks brought back Khris Middleton and George Hill, and signed Kyle Korver, Wesley Matthews, Dragan Bender, Frank Mason III and Thanasis Antetokounmpo.

The Bucks did lose Malcolm Brogdon to the Indiana Pacers in free agency, although Milwaukee and Indiana executed a sign-and-trade deal, so the Bucks got draft picks in return.

Robin Lopez played for the Chicago Bulls last season. He averaged 9.5 points and 3.9 rebounds while shooting 56.8 percent from the field.

Brook Lopez, meanwhile, had a stellar 2018-19 campaign for the Bucks. He put up 12.5 points and 4.9 rebounds while shooting an impressive 36.5 percent from beyond the arc.
