It was reported on Friday that Milwaukee Bucks point guard Eric Bledsoe had finally put pent to paper on a four-year, $70 million extension with the squad. Speaking to reporters following the Bucks' 131-120 victory against the Los Angeles Lakers, the 29-year-old was smiling ear to ear, claiming that he was extremely delighted with recently signing the extension with Milwaukee.

Despite his desire to keep it cool, Bledsoe could do very little to conceal his genuine joy brought about by the big money deal. More than the millions of dollars at stake, however, the extension is a testament to how well he has been playing this season and serves as validation for all his hard work. Then again, $70 million dollars would definitely put a smile on any man's face.

Bledsoe was able to to translate his delight to a remarkable on-court performance on Friday, as he dropped a game-high 31 points against LeBron James and company. The 6-foot-1 Bucks guard also logged two three-pointers, nine rebounds, five assists, and a block to round out a very impressive outing.

This comes at the heels of Bledsoe's 26-point, 12-rebound, 13-assist triple-double in Milwaukee's last outing against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. That's now back-to-back inspiring performances from Bledsoe, and it appears that the Bucks are already getting some early returns from their investment.

On the season, Bledose is averaging 15.9 points (on 49.2 percent shooting), 1.6 three-pointers, 4.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.4 blocks, and 2.1 turnovers in 29.2 minutes of action. He has been absolutely pivotal for the Bucks who continue to hold the best record in the entire league.
