Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo says he should have chosen better words when commenting about Mario Hezonja after they lost to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

To recall, Knicks forward Mario Hezonja stepped over Giannis Antetokounmpo after a dunk, and The Greek Freak didn't appreciate it. After the game, the Bucks forward said he was going to punch the Croatian in the midsection the next time they face each other.

Now, after the Bucks' practice on Monday, Antetokounmpo says he still meant what he said. However,  he added he could have used slightly different words.

“What I said, I meant it. I don't take words back. I wasn't mad, it was more of a pride thing, but I know I gotta choose better words.”

Hezonja scored two points in the game, but he was doing a lot of talking in his postgame interview. Someone should probably remind him that he's considered a bust throughout the NBA after being selected fifth overall in the 2015 NBA Draft and only carrying career averages of 7.0 points per game.

Antetokounmpo should have been upset at Hezonja. For a putrid player to disrespect one of the best players in the game like that is something competitors like Antetokounmpo don't like.

Antetokounmpo is averaging 27.6 points, 13.2 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game for the Bucks this season while shooting a blistering 57.8 percent from the field. The next time the Bucks and Knicks play is going to be must-see TV now.
