The Milwaukee Bucks have been on a roll this season. They currently have the best record in the East, thanks in large part to their perennial All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

However, the Bucks will have to find a way without him when they play the Washington Wizards today.

Giannis has been dealing with a sore quad and a bruised left hip and though he could play through the injuries, the Bucks eventually decided to sit him out for precautionary measures.

Antetokounmpo has been very impressive all season, putting up averages of 26.6 points, 12.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game.

Milwaukee is also going to miss DJ Wilson because a bruised left hip. So the team's front court is expected to be thin against Washington. Big men Ersan Ilyasova and Thon Maker are expected to see extended minutes for the Bucks.

With Giannis out, guys like guards Khris Midddleton and Eric Bledsoe are expected to carry most of the scoring load. Middleton has regular season averages of 17.7 points, 5.6 boards and 4.2 assists per game, good enough to be the second leading scorer for the Bucks.

Bledsoe is averaging 15.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game on 49.0 percent shooting from the field.

Despite the Wizards being out of the playoff picture in the East, the Bucks can't take them lightly. They have already beaten the Oklahoma City Thunder, one of the best teams in the West, and Washington has done it without their cornerstone John Wall, who will be missing the rest of the season because of a heel injury that required surgery.
