Despite being one of the best, if not the best, players in the game today, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is having yet another atrocious year shooting from the charity stripe this season. This has prompted his own brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, to come up with a unique routine to help his big brother with his free throw-shooting woes.

During Thursday night's matchup against the Toronto Raptors, Thanasis was caught by the broadcast knocking on the hardwood as Giannis took his free throws:

Apparently, this has been something Thanasis has been doing for some time now. That's how bad Giannis has been from the stripe. Even his own brother thinks Giannis needs Lady Luck to smile on him every time he attempts a free throw.

It did work on this particular occasion, but on the season, Giannis Antetokounmpo is still shooting a miserable 64.2 percent from the line on 9.9 attempts per game. The now-five-time All-Star is a career 71.7 percent from the stripe and he even shot a career-best 77.0-percent during the 2016-17 season. For reasons unknown, the reigning back-to-back MVP has regressed significantly since.

Moving forward, perhaps Thanasis needs to come up with a new routine—one that will actually help his brother improve his stroke.

However, Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is only 26 years old, has yet to reach his prime. The two-time MVP still has a lot of time to work on his weaknesses. When the Bucks superstar is finally hitting his free throws consistently, opposing teams would be scrambling for ways to limit his production.
