On the day of his 40th birthday, September 15th, veteran shooting guard Jason Terry has agreed to a one-year, $2.3 million deal to return to the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

Terry will be playing in his 18th season in the NBA, but will likely not see much time on the court as the team is bringing him back to be a strong veteran presence and voice in the locker room for a relatively young Bucks team led by 23-year old Giannis Antetokounmpo.

For his career, Terry has averaged 13.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. With the Bucks last season, however, he averaged just 4.1 points 1.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 18.4 minutes per game, making 74 appearances on the year.
