To say that Jrue Holiday and the Milwaukee Bucks struggled on Monday is quite an understatement. The Bucks lost their second-straight game against the Brooklyn Nets in a disappointing 125-86 blowout. Holiday had a disappointing game and was rather speechless after his team's embarrassing rout.

“The loss sucks,” Holiday told the media after the loss (via Eric Nehm of The Athletic).

A loss like that isn't easy to digest. The 39-point blowout was the Bucks' second-largest loss in the franchise's postseason history. With his team now being down a huge 2-0 hole against a mighty Nets unit, Holiday was clearly baffled by his team's current predicament.

The 30-year-old only had 13 points and three assists in 34 minutes of play.  His teammate, the reigning two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, was limited to just 18 points and 11 boards. No one in the Bucks' roster scored more than 18 as they were clearly outclassed by Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and the rest of Brooklyn's roster.

The scary part is, the Nets were even shorthanded in Game 2. Former MVP James Harden and starting forward Jeff Green were both out but that clearly didn't matter as the Nets punched the Bucks in the mouth right from the get-go. After being down 36-19 in the opening 12 minutes, the Bucks were lost and couldn't find a way back.

Holiday knows that it's still a long series. Though they're down 2-0, the Bucks just need to compose themselves as they head home for Games 3 and 4. Hopefully, these two losses serve as a wake-up call for Milwaukee as they try to even out the series at home to keep their season alive.
