Milwaukee Bucks veteran shooting guard Kyle Korver has played with four MVPs during his career: Allen Iverson, Derrick Rose, LeBron James and now Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Korver, whose Bucks currently have the best record in the NBA, believes this Bucks team is similar to the Rose-led Chicago Bulls teams he played for. The Bulls had the best record in the East in 2010-11 and 2011-12. Rose, who became the youngest MVP in league history during the 2010-11 season, tore his left ACL in Game 1 of the 2012 playoffs. It's an injury which still haunts Bulls fans to this day.

Kyle Korver sees a lot of similarities between Rose and Antetokounmpo. The Bucks sharpshooter spoke to Scott Cacciola of The New York Times about it:

Q: You’ve been a part of some really good teams. Do the Bucks share any similarities to those teams?

A: I do think every team is unique. But I feel like this team is more like the Bulls teams that I was on. There are a lot of similarities between Giannis and Derrick [Rose] in that they both just love the game and love to work, and they’re gym rats who accept coaching. They’re just, ‘Tell me what to do, and I’ll do it as hard as I can to the best of my ability.’ There’s a humility to them both, and that sets the tone for the rest of the team.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, like Derrick Rose, is very humble. Rose is one of the most humble players in the NBA. You would never know he’s the youngest MVP in NBA history by the way he acts or speaks. It’s why Rose is one of the most respected players in the league, and Antetokounmpo is just like that.

With Kawhi Leonard in the Western Conference now, Antetokounmpo and the Bucks have a great shot at winning the East this season. The Greek Freak is averaging 30.5 points, 12.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game this season for the Bucks while shooting 55.4 percent from the field, 32.7 percent from beyond the arc and 59.7 percent from the free-throw line.
