The Milwaukee Bucks are one game away from capturing the NBA title at the expense of the Phoenix Suns. After the Suns went out to a 2-0 lead, the Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, stormed back and won the past three.

Now comes time for the debate: Who is the Finals MVP? The easy choice is Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, some have gone back and forth, and Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum posted a tweet supporting Khris Middleton for Finals MVP.

This Tweet got a ton of traction, and Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert responded epically in support of Giannis, the two-time MVP who has led the Bucks game in and game out.

While Middleton has been played well, it is no question that Antetokounmpo should win Finals MVP if the Bucks win the title– and even then a case could be made for him to win the award if they lose as well.

Earlier, Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie received backlash after his tweets regarding the Bucks superstar, although Dinwiddie came out and clarified his initial comments.

Nonetheless, Game 6 is on Tuesday, and the Bucks could become NBA Champions. If so, it is tough to argue that Giannis Antetokounmpo is not deserving of the Finals MVP.
