The Milwaukee Bucks have just gifted their cornerstone superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, with the most Wisconsin birthday present ever: 40 pounds of cheese.

We're being a hundred percent serious here, and there is no punchline. As a matter of fact, it was Bucks team president Peter Feigin himself, with the assistance of team mascot, Bango, of course, who handed the 24-year-old with what seemed like a lifetime supply of cheese:

Despite the rather peculiar gift, this is still a pretty classy gesture from the Bucks. However, let us take a moment to process the fact that Giannis was pumping iron in the gym — all by himself — on his birthday. If that's not dedication to your craft, then I no longer know what is.

His hard work has certainly been paying off, as Antetokounmpo continues to astonish with the rate of his development year after year. This season, he has raised the bar even higher for the Bucks, putting up 27.0 points (on 57.5 percent shooting), 12.9 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks in 33.8 minutes per contest. In case you were wondering, the points, rebounds, and assists are all career highs.

More importantly, he has led the Bucks to the second-best record in the Eastern Conference (and third-best in the entire NBA) with a 16-7 record thus far. Milwaukee seems primed to make a big playoff push this season with Giannis at the helm, and it appears he has exactly this on his mind 24/7.
