Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady made an appearance on Howard Stern and promised heading into the show he would be very honest. Brady lived up to that promise talking about everything from football to occasionally smoking a little marijuana while he was in high school.

Tom Brady said even though he did smoke a little bit, every time he did it, he felt like he was letting his dad down, and that's not something he wanted to do.

“What kept me from smoking a lot of weed — obviously in high school you try that and drink and go to parities — but I always felt like I was letting my dad down,” Tom Brady told Stern via Tom Westerholm of MassLive, “I definitely had fun in high school with partying and drinking and smoking weed on occasion.”

It's really not all that surprising Brady smoked weed in high school, and as the years go on, there will be more and more players in the NFL who will have smoked.

As marijuana becomes more of the norm the NFL is also changing its rules regarding its use. Players will no longer be suspended for positive marijuana tests, something that players and former players have vouched for, for years.

Maybe with where the world is heading, Brady's dad wouldn't be so disappointed with his son using weed. Tom Brady could get back to his high school days where he takes a hit or two of a blunt. Either way Buccaneers fans are just hoping he will win some ballgames for his club next year.
