Oaklahoma's Buddy Hield has given the Boston Celtics something to think about this week.
He was able to complete his work out for the Celtics on Monday, going through a series of drills, and managed to impress, sinking 85 of 100 3-pointers before calling it quits.
Hield shot 45% from from three point land at The University of Oklahoma, gaining a reputation as a very reliable shooter from beyond the arc.
The Celtics could use Hield’s shooting as they ranked #29 among NBA teams in three pointers made in the 2015-2016 season.
Reports are that the Celtics are aggressively shopping their #3 pick for a likely NBA veteran that helps them win now. But with the young core of players that they have, and a fantastic teacher in coach Brad Stevens who knows how to get the best out of his players, Hield would be an excellent choice if they were to reconsider.
