The Chicago Bulls suffered another humiliating loss on Monday, as they gave up a 26-point lead to allow the Oklahoma City Thunder to come away with the unlikely come-from-behind victory. This is probably the reason why some folks on social media decided to call out Bulls youngsters Wendell Carter Jr. and Coby White for taking a picture with Thunder veteran guard Chris Paul following yet another disappointing loss.
Below is the photo in question:

For some, posing with your opponent for a postgame photo is not exactly the most ideal move, especially after being defeated in such uninspiring fashion. Carter and White were all smiles as well, which may have been misconstrued by some as a lack of competitive spirit from the two Bulls players.
For his part, Coby White's brother, Will White, was having absolutely none of it, and called out all the haters for their alleged nonsense:
For everyone talking about my brother and wendell taking pics with Chris after the game (specifically my brother ) yall don’t understand. It’s bigger than basketball at the end of the day Chris has helped him and our family more than any of you guys can or could

Coby's brother obviously took offense to all the negativity being thrown at his sibling:
Chris is the type of guy to give my brother advice while the rest of yall getting worked up over the picture are the people those who talk ish about him and 75% of y’all never played a competitive sport on this level.

White would not stop there, and would even respond to a number of individual tweets. In his mind, there's nothing wrong with what his brother did, arguing that Coby White and CP3 go way back:
Played for him in AAU he’s his mentor big fella. Bigger than ball, he’s a supporter of my brother, a close friend of our family. Was there for my bro when our pops died. Anymore questions big fella? https://t.co/ADXK2kqYtP

Bigger than basketball where were you when our pops died or when Coby’s going through a shooting slump??

Will White couldn't help but vigorously defend his brother on the mean streets of Twitter. Surely, the fact that the Bulls gave up another huge lead in the second half also played into the passionate responses.
