Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine didn't make this year's All-Star team despite the game being in Chicago and the high-flyer putting up stellar numbers. But Bulls rookie guard Coby White doesn't see this season being a trend moving forward.

In fact, White is so confident in LaVine's abilities that he thinks the Bulls' leading scorer is going to be a multi-time All-Star pretty soon:

“I think he should have been an All-Star,” White told Brandon ‘Scoop B' Robinson of Heavy. “He’s had an All-Star year. He’s an All-Star for sure but you know sometimes things don’t always go your way or go the way you want it to go.

“I still think that he can win the 3-point Contest. I’ll be supporting him there but you know, it’s just life. You don’t always get what you want to get. You know it’s this year but you know, he’ll be a multiple year All-Star no matter what in the coming years. The thing I like about that is that he really didn’t dwell on it too much and he didn’t get frustrated about it too much, he just kept pushing.”

The Bulls' record definitely played a part in LaVine not getting an All-Star nod because his numbers are All-Star worthy. He came into Tuesday averaging 25.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists while shooting 44.3 percent from the field, 37.6 percent from beyond the arc and 82.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Despite LaVine’s scoring prowess, the Bulls are only 19-35 on the season. They are in 10th place in the Eastern Conference standings and still alive in the playoff picture. That’s mostly because the back half of the East is pretty terrible.
